EC 1.21. Synthesize X- Y bond from X- H and Y- H compounds

EC 1.21 subclass definition

The EC 1.21 subclass contains oxidoreductases which synthesize X-Y bond from X-H and Y-H compounds. Further classification is based on acceptor used in catalysis.

Further classification of EC 1.21 subclass

Further classification is based on acceptor used in catalysis
  • EC 1.21.3 - Acceptor is oxygen
  • EC 1.21.4 - Acceptor is disulfide
  • EC 1.21.99 - All other acceptors, also reserved for non classified enzymes
